Citation: “Ye-Ye started working for the MCR before she had even arrived at St Anne’s. She immediately took up the role of MCR Welfare Officer, as a fresher, at a time when College welfare teams have been more important than ever. She has embraced this role with both passion and proactivity, organising walks, teas, visits, and even poetry readings to help support and unite the MCR at this unusual time. She has been instrumental in keeping us all on our feet, alongside the challenges of starting an intensive course. As one of her nominators put it, “all MCRs need a Ye-Ye to bring us all some kindness”.
